Watercolor Flower Still Life

For lack of a more interesting title. That's how I feel about still lifes. Ugh. Hate them.

Anyways, did this one for school. We had to use 6 watercolor techniques. I used...if I can remember...
White oil pastel
Brush handle scraping
Cardboard scraping
Paper Towel Blotting
Thirsty Brush
Area of No Paint (not counted as a technique)
Salt

First time seriously working with watercolors. Learned a lot of stuff, like making highlights first (which I didn't do but now I learned it >.< Had to go back and fix my highlights by getting them wet and paper towel blotting the color back off, so it looks crappy; I'll do it right next time!)

Sorry for the terrible lighting when taking the picture.

It doesn't actually come so close to the edges of the paper. Just had to trim the picture to make it look flat since watercolor is terribly wrinkly...
